This version introduces massive improvements to the Contact Import feature, making it faster and simpler than ever to import contacts from your device, match them to the voter file, and add them to your Network in Reach.
For Users
New
- Now, when you import your contacts, Reach will automatically add any Great Matches to your Network without you needing to tap through them and confirm the matches. Remaining contacts that do not have Great Matches, or who have more than one Great Match will still be available for you to manually match.
- On then very first Contact Import screen, where you decided which contacts to search for, you’ll be able to choose a default Relationship Type and Contact Info privacy settings for all automatically imported contacts.
- You’ll also notice some improvements to the design and interface of contact import.
Improved
- The search screen will now return better, more relevant, and more limited results thanks to an improved search algorithm.
- Thumbnail images for links in the Content Library will look better in some cases, filling the space entirely.
Fixed
- There was an issue preventing address auto-complete from working properly on the Add Person screen.
- Reach would sometimes crash when switching campaigns from the Content Library search screen.
- On the Action Feed tab of the Home Screen, some Action Card description previews would show random-looking characters at the end of a line.
For Admins
Improved
- You can now target Action Cards and Push Notifications directly based on a user’s chosen Language, rather than having to first put them in a User Group by language.
- For campaigns in “Social Reach” mode, you will no longer see irrelevant graphs at the top of the admin dashboard.
- Any campaigns which choose to require DOB for Reach Adds will not be able to allow Reach Adds during Contact Import.
