For Users

Improved

• We had added section dividers on the various Filter screens throughout the app to make it easier to use those screens.
• We have re-labeled the Filter and Refine buttons to “Filters & Prefs” to make it a bit more clear that they allow access to more than just Filters.

Fixed

• On web, giphy embeds in chat were sometimes missing their shuffle/send buttons.
• Tapping on an @ mentioned name in chat no longer seems misleadingly interactive on iOS.

For Admins

New

• Charts and Graphs! The Admin Dashboard has been redesigned to include a new top section showing you some lovely data visualizations of the work happening in your campaign. You can even adjust the timespan and filter some of the graphs to make them useful to you!

Fixed

• In Campaign Keys Admin, it is now easier to see everything at the bottom of the side bar when you scroll down on small windows.

For Users

New

• Import Relationships. You can now import relationships into your Network from other campaigns you are a member of.
• The screen you see when your Network is empty is now much more helpful and descriptive.
• When using a Network Contact Action Card, you will now have an option for Marking someone as Contacted outside of Reach.

Improved

• When you have un-saved survey responses, you will now be unable to switch away from the Survey Questions screen.
• The titles of the various contact import screens are now distinct so it’s easier to understand which step of the process you’re on.
• When your search returns no results, if you have Search filters in place, we’ll remind you of that and give you an easy button to clear the filters and retry your search.
• We’ve added some headers to the Campaign Directory screen to make it a bit more clear.
• We have changed the Close button on Filter modals to a Done button to make it more clear that you won’t lose your selection when you tap it.
• We’ve added some more specific language to the Guide Box at the top of the Nickname editing screen to help encourage users who are correcting deadnames to do so by editing the voter’s name, not adding a nickname.

Fixed

• There was some bad text wrapping in the header of the My Reach/Voter Registration/Filters screen on some devices.

For Admins

New

• When creating an Internal Link Action Card to the Rankings screen, you can now specify the timespan and metric you’d like selected when the user gets there.

Fixed

• The icons were missing for cancelled exports in your export history.
• There were some formatting bugs in Invite User Settings.

For Users

Improved

• When you’re using a Network Contact Action Card and you contact someone, their Send button will now turn into a green check mark, rather than just changing color as it previously did.

For Admins

New

• When inviting a new user to your campaign, you can now specify an email address and have Reach send an email to the new user, letting them know they’ve been added.
• You can now customize the default Invite User script that your users will be encouraged to send to other users they invite.

Fixed

• There were some styling problems in Survey Questions Admin.

For Users

New

• When you’re working with Reach support, there is now an option to send us your logs to help with troubleshooting.

Improved

• On the Search Results screen, the Refine button is now easier to tap.

Fixed

• On the Person Screen, if there is no address, we will not show a Household count.
• On the Network Screen, it is now possible to select multiple Relationship Types to filter by on the Quick Filter bar.
• Resizing your browser window in Safari and Mobile Safari sometimes led to a crash.

For Admins

New

• When removing a user from your campaign, you can now choose to block them as well so they cannot rejoin your campaign with the same account.

Fixed

• There was a bug preventing some users from uploading Campaign Logos.

For Users

New

• You can now search a chat channel! Just tap the Chat Info button in the header of any chat channel and you’ll see a new Search button.
• You can now send a link to a more specific version of the Rankings screen, including the timespan and metric you’re looking at.

Improved

• When creating your account, you can now just check a box saying you agree with the Reach Terms of Use and you no longer will see the terms on their own screen unless you click a link.
• After a contact action, the transition will now be smoother.
• Clearer labeling of “Reach Add” buttons as being about Voter Registration when that feature is enabled.

Fixed

• We have improved the “Last Reached On” sorting on Network Contact Action Cards so the people you contact will more reliably drop to the bottom of the list.
• There were some issues selecting text on web.

For Admins

New

• It is now possible to view and edit User Group visibility settings from the Question Set editing screen.

For Users

Improved

• The animations in and out of action cards are now smoother and prettier.

Fixed

• If you’re using an iPad with a very large text magnification setting, some Reach screen will not expand to be more usable.
• The offline mode banner was sometimes creating empty space above it.

For Admins

New

• The “Tag State” export is now available via Exports Admin

For Users

Improved

• Push Notifications from Reach Chat will now be dismissed more reliably when you see the content the messages they were about. No more needing to manually swipe away Reach notifications that have been piling up.
• The Icon badge count on the Reach app (on iOS) and in the bottom tab bar in Reach will now be more reliable.

Fixed

• The Image Upload widget that lets you set and change your profile pic will now work better for users with very large text zoom settings on their phone.
• When arriving on the Person Screen, Reach should do a better job of keeping you on the tab you want to be on.

For Admins

New

• It is now possible to control which roles of users can invite other users to your campaign. Find this new setting in the “Privacy Settings” box on the Campaign Settings Screen.
• It is now possible to disable the full-campaign “Team Chat” channel while keeping the other features of Reach Chat enabled, like User Group channels and DMs.

For Users

New

• Filter to Only People with ALL Tags –  What do you do when you only want to see the people in your network that have a specific combination of tags (like “Democrat” AND “Not Yet Voted”)? Tap the Filter button on the Network screen or within a Network Contact Action Card and you’ll now see a toggle to “Show only people with all tags” which will filter your network down to the people who have ALL of the tags you select from the list of tag filters. 

Fixed

• Crashes when switching tabs on the Person screen
• Crashes on Android during login and on Campaign Directory landing pages with videos
• In the user drawer, the footer text wasn’t scrolling properly and was sometimes covering the Log Out button on phones with large zoom settings.
• Email Contact Actions on Android were not properly being confirmed or recorded

For Admins

New

• When adding tag filters to Action Cards, you can now specify that the filter should only show people who have all the selected tags applied.

For Users

New

• You can now type-to-filter your Network by address, phone number, and email address!

Fixed

• On mobile web, the tutorial slides at the beginning of Contact Import had a broken layout.
• When viewing the Person Screen from within an Action Card or Contact Import some features weren’t working properly, like navigating to household search result or opening the Contact Info Actions menu on web.
• We will now more reliably display up-to-date Survey Questions when you’re creating Reach Adds.

For Admins

New

• It is now possible to set the Filters you add to a Network Contact action card to be hidden and un-editable by users.

Fixed

• When choosing filters for Action Cards, you will now more reliably see recently-created tags without refreshing the page.

For Users

Improved

• It is easier to re-customize a customized script on a Network Contact Action Card without having to reset it first.
• Better Screen Reader compatibility on the Search screen inputs

For Admins

New

• It is now possible to set tags as “Network-Only” so they are only visible for voters in a user’s network. This is designed to help with Randomized Control Trials where you may not want users to see if a voter is tagged in your control or treatment group until after they have added them to their Network.
